BP hasn't eaten in 10 months

Haven't been on this forum for a while but wanted to share my story.
My BP stopped eating the the end of October. She was regularly eating small rats every 7-10 days. She wasn't very big to begin with and now is about half the size she was last fall. I have heard and read that BP's can go months without eating...but 10 months??? and being such a young snake???

Great news! I just keep giving her the mice about every 7 to 10 days a hopefully she'll keep eating for you. You want to try an get the weight back on her , but not too fast. I wait a couple month before trying a small rat again. When you do get her back on rats i just feed ever 14 days. Then you should not have any problems keeping her eating. Just wondering do you feed her live or F/T?

thats great news i have a 75% jun/jag that took me 6 months to get eating.its such a relief when they take their first meal
