For guitars i have a fender electric accoustic and have been looking for an electric for a while now. I love anything musical and want to get my own dj set up aswell.
I think that should do for now. I have plenty more but dont want to bore you guys to death lol.

I collect music (off and on) fiddle with web sites, love taking pictures, collect DVD sets, most anything that involves hoarding more stuff.
I'm an amateur inventor in my spare time. I like designing and building things.

Mostly rock music, I have a very broad taste. Progressive, heavy, alternative, blues rock (Clapton is a fave) Live radio broadcasts, too much to list really.
Most of our DVD sets are Sci Fi and police type stuff (CSI, Law and order)

I love clapton i went and seen him live a long time ago, it was definetely one of my all time favourite concerts. I love a bit of classic rock.
Both mentioned series are also a favourite.
Um, I design and build my own reptile cages. I invent and prototype board games (To be fair, I've only ever made three, but like a thousand hours of work go into one, so it's not something I enter into lightly). I designed and produced a line of lan bags (and went into business just long enough to have my paypal account permanently emblazened with the now defunct name). Oh, and twice I've invented things only to look at them and say "no one would ever want this", only to see them for sale in stores more than a decade later. Which just goes to show, it doesn't matter how useless something is, marketing will fix it.
Oh, and those two items...
A blanket with sleeves, so you can read while covered up. (ala the snuggie). I made it 15 years ago. And every time I see them in stores now I curse at myself. "No one would ever want one, it's just a bathrobe you put on backwards!"
An automatic toilet brush, which I dismissed because "who could possibly be this lazy? You still have to move it around the bowl, it just saves you turning your wrist..." (The first thing I invented, at age 10.)
Both of those things can be found in the "as seen on tv" sections of major retailers...

I used to run, swim, cycle, weight train, play football, rugby and do mixed martial arts but all that is behind me now.
Currently i play computer games (Warcraft and other role playing games) and PS3 games. I love photography (just bought a DSLR so look out for lots of pics on here soon!) and am looking to expand my skills in this field.
I love watching sport - especially football, rugby and UFC and generally watching TV.
I am also addicted to animals and nature (seems to be a common thing on here!!) - love watching HD nature shows on TV.
I have recently started 10-pin bowling form my wheelchair (used to do that "stood up" too) and have found i can already hit scores within a strike or two of my previous performance. I like playing Pool (8 and 9-ball) and snooker.
Think thats probable enough about me for now!!!
I love watching sport - especially football, rugby and UFC and generally watching TV.
I know it's an American cliche, but I don't understand the world's fascination with association football/soccer. It's one of those sports that could be made interesting with a few minor changes (like the elimination of ties!). My brother lives in Sheffield, and he's obsessed with association football (I think he supports the wednesdays or something). I think it's just the European equivalent of NASCAR (mind numbing unless your blood alcohol level is above .08%).

TBH i think we feel the same about baseball - we have a kids game called rounders which is the closest thing to baseball over here. But football is like a religion to a lot of us.
Careful knocking baseball, don't make me bring up cricket.

I love football, I watch Serie A religously, never dreamed I'd see Inter winning the CL. Good times.
I play in a 8 ball league, keep/breed about 40+ tarantulas, watch too much TV, and play with tech stuff. Oh, I'm also a beer connoisseur  At least that's what I tell my wife. :)

agh! i think its because i've always been a rugby player i'm not interested in soccer in the least, i used to play american football, but that got boring as there was no flow in the game it was 30 seconds of play and 5 minutes of planning lol. cricket has never interested me either but i have never had a shot at playing it. Baseball i find boring. I absolutely love hockey and rugby, i've played hockey since i was 3 and quit three years back but now im back into it, i watch UFC here and there as well, my favorite fighter being Georges St. Pierre lol

Yes, but the most popular sport in the world is association football, which kind of makes the whole thing invalid.
Look, cards on the table here. Most of the world plays cricket and association football because the brits do, and they used to own most of the world (or at least the bits that counted).
They're basically living fossils, it's like tuning into the tour de france and seeing someone competing on a penny farthing. Give me hockey over football any day, 100% more violence, and 100% less chance of seeing some guy's **** flop out of his shorts during the instant replay. Not to mention none of that "tie" bullshit.

'Association' football? LOL. Are you trying to distinguish it from the wimpy version of rugby that's played in the US?
I don't understand the hatred for the draw by Americans, draws only occur during group stages and can get you knocked out of the competition as easy as a loss. New Zealand didn't lose a match during this WC and didn't make it out of the group because you have to win a match or two. 3 draws = 1 win

lol, i saw an episode of sports science when they decided to see who hits harder a rugby player or football player, so they got a 3rd tier LA rugby club player and an NFL runningback... that got me pretty fired up especially since a finesse player like Dan Carter could hit harder than these guys who claimed to be "professional". needless to say the NFL player hit harder... not exactly a fair matchup lol thats like comparing your local highschools team to a pro team...

It is a really fascinating subject Wayne. I remember my interest grew immensly after watching a film/documentary called zeitgeist. Its a very interesting film and covers many subjects from the 4 major banks ruling the world, religion and many more.
I also recommend the books of anastasia, its a very interesting philosophy and theory on solving all the worlds problems. I believe russians have a strong belief in the stories of this goddess in the siberian forests. I might buy myself a piece of the ringing cedar tree to see if it does help with all my problems. ie smoking, drinking too much and also some of my recreational habits. I highly doubt it will stop me smoking but i guess its worth a try.

Hopefully I don't offend anyone, but I find the aspects of how religion came to be intriguing.
For instance early (pre-science) man had no explanation for things we understand well now.
The earth opens up and molten rock spews forth, Why?? because hell is at the center of the earth.
The early writings of Mormon speak of a planet called Kolob (Book of Abraham) where God resides.
Native Americans had a god for almost everything..
The whole dynamics of how entire civilizations shape their way of life based on fear of the unknown is just interesting.
That is why many of my snakes have names like Diana, Athena, Apollo, Sol, Masubi, Kane, etc...
percey39

I find egyptians religion has been the base of all religion itself. They are as described by many all focused on astrology and seasons. This to means the basisto religion in the sun its self. I also dont mean to offend any one

I actually have courses in policing with aboriginal emphasis on it so i'm taught by aboriginal police officers and lawyers, they teach us a lot of the customs (we also learn these in Gr.6 or 7) but i find it very interesting. Native peoples are much more diverse than a teepee. I also did a project on the Oka Crisis which was a VERY controversial subject. google it, its very interesting as well, basically the city wanted to expand a golf course over sacred burial grounds on the reserve and didn't ask permission from the local Mohawk tribes. it was a really bad situation and a few people died, it also showed a lack of respect for the aboriginal peoples by the Canadian government one politician was quoted as saying "get those f****** indians out of there"... pretty sad really.

We had a similar situation here in NY a few years back, but it involved selling tobacco on the reservations.
The federal government has granted tax exemption on the reservation property, so the native Americans capitalize on this (after all Europe stole the whole continent from them first) and sell cigarettes and gasoline tax free, and operate casinos.
Mr Tax man showed up with hands out looking to cash in on this thriving business.
The tribes refused to pay, and the government attempted to levy the reservations.
We had went to the edge of war with the reservations, almost all of the highways in the state pass through reservation property, so the natives blockaded the main roads, grinding the states trucking industry to a near halt.
When it got all said and done, the natives got to retain the tax exemptions.

Honestly, I usually agree with what they believe, I couldn't imagine having my entire culture taken away from me, especially with the state of the residential schools (another dark day in the canadian government) they weren't allowed to practice their traditions or beliefs, language, traditional dress, food, nothing. Many were raped and assaulted (by the church and priests, ministers, nuns, etc.) and forced to be "white". it's amazing what people do to one another.

A 4x4 with that much power would be insane. Im hoping to do up my f truck to have 500hp which would be good enough for smashing through the bush and hill climbs. Sports car are good but the servicing kills your money. At the moment i need to servce my gtr every 3000km maximum and the service cost me around $800 a pop, thats only oil changes filters and tuning. Its an expensive hobby, snakes are a lot cheaper lol.
A range rover would be sweet though rob as they do have lots of space and plenty of potential.

I paint and sculpt, and I work on my cars. My daily driver is a 2009 Saab 9-3 that I have tuned and tweaked to put out 250hp and 286 ft-lbs torque. It's no slouch. :) I am also in the process of restoring a 1968 Saab 95 V4. It's a bizarre, quirky little wagon, and every bit a Saab. (If you haven't guessed I love Saabs...lol). The '68 needs some minor engine and brake work, and then repainting and the chrome refinished in a few spots. Here are some pictures of it in all its bizarre glory..lol.

When it got all said and done, the natives got to retain the tax exemptions.
its truley shocking what the british did to the world a few centuarys back.not only did they take what they wanted they also deemed the natives inferior people.native americans, australian aboriginies, africans, to name but a few.
i feel the uk is now getting pay back for the days when it was said " the sun never sets on the british empire " we stole most of the planet and proclaimed it our god given right.now were just a crappy wee island thats about to turn into a 3rd world nation.the uk is truley the pits to live in.at least im scottish and scotland, wales and ireland got all the good scenery and senses of humor.:yes::yes:

And people wonder why I don't care for "thanksgiving"
I'm torn. Philosophically, I hate thanksgiving. It's a bullships holiday, like columbus day, that just serves to glorify 500 years of genocide. On the other hand, I love turkey and pumpkin pie.
I have the same problem with Christmas. As a non christian, I feel silly celebrating christmas with my family. On the other hand, turkey and pumpkin pie again.
I would celebrate Hitler Day if it came with a plate full of turkey, and a pumpkin pie.

Without even going into the religious part of it, Christmas is a love/hate holiday for me.
My fondest memories are family gathered together, presents and lots of great food.
However some of my more recent memories are paying for it all.

Imagine that!!! we all like animals!!! who would ever believe that?
Well like the rest of you I used to be a well rounded sports man. now I am just round. There are a lot of things I like doing or would like to do but for financial reasons I had to put those things aside. I have re built 3 VW bugs, a 1983 Suzuki GS 850 G and a 1987 Yamaha xs 400 but that feels like a life time ago Mid 1990s i played Baseball for the Kempton Redsocks and Rugby for harlaquins rugby club under 21 ok that was more early 90's.
Now I build kids and enclosures. My wife (Tania) and I are both Nature freaks so we love the bush and wild life. As far as gaming goes my best is COD with the guys at work after hours.
That in a shell is me

Sorry for the late response, I've been super busy at school. Shaun, I paint landscapes and animals, as well as city scenes. I really try to stay away from painting people, because getting the exact proportions right sucks. I have done a lot of watercolors of friends' cars as birthday or Christmas gifts, and I am planning on doing some portraits of my snakes when I get some more free time.
Thanks for your comments on the old Saab- it's such a bizarre, funny old car! :)

It's all about the children anyhow. It would bother me more to have a Christmas with unhappy children. ;)
I also spend a lot of time trying to conceive children, but I'm not sure that counts as a hobby!

I cant remember what I did on Christmas before my kids were there.
A hobby usually costs you money so both conceiving and practicing could be hobbies. Also depending on who you practice with.
Whats better is it one of those hobbies you and your partner can enjoy together!!!
Problem comes if you and your partner enjoy the same hobby but at different times.
I am seriously considering restoring a 1937 plymoth coupe. I can get one now for a seriously good price.

HAHAHA you want us to believe that you only tried 4 times? Ok if you say so.
I am also really good at it apparently.
I had a bike accident when I was young and reckless and I was told I would never have kids.
Now I am not young anymore and I have 2.

Im sitting here quite confident after watching the kiwis win when they were in melbourne and now to see them win everything they have played ( we should win in japan ) I now think we have an extremely good chance of taking the rugby world cup as our own, its about time we win one and especially in our homeland. GO THE ALL BLACKS!!!!!
