snake peeing...

This isn't a concern or anything of mine but I was just curious how often some snakes pee. Our two snakes vary greatly when it comes to them urinating and defecating. My snake (the BRB) seems to pee a lot - at least every other day. Our other snake (Nicaraguan boa) though only pees when he defecates (which for that snake is about once every 7-10 days). Again, not worried about mine peeing so often just thought it was kind of odd and didn't know if it had anything to do with the type of snake or just depends from snake to snake. We see them both drinking (his more so in the day and mine does most of his drinking late at night or early morning).

My colubrids pass urates at least once a week, and crap at least once a week. They also tend to pass urates when they musk, but I think that's a case of just throwing everything they have at me.

My pythons only seem to defecate about once a month. My ball passes urates regularly, and takes a massive crap (at least 20% of his mass), about once a month, or once every 6 weeks (in the last 5 months, he's had 5 bms). My carpet is about the same, except she passes her urates with her stool.

Ours corn/bp and lizard all seem to urinate at the same time as passing stools - whether this is a case of we only notice the urates with the stool and they urinate more often but it gets hidden in the substrate i dont know.........
