hello, someone can tell me a prolific gecko to breed for snake feeding lizard?

Unfortunately (or fortunately) in Europe is illegal catch autochthonous lizards and geckos, so I wanna do geckos feeders myself

(Idon't know if my english is clear)

Your english is just fine ;) a whole lot better than my Italian.

Not sure what to say about the geckos though.

what species are you working with? and ive heard of anoles, but most people here will scent rodents as they are much cheaper and easier to breed

I'm working with Ahaetulla, now I'm feeding them wirh Pinkyes (I think a little fatty) , but I wouldn't upset the food of this lizard specialized snake (they eat also little bird and frogs), an so I would make a medium big breeding of geckos in case to take others lizard feeding snake (I think there's the most beautifull snake in this class)

I'm looking for Lepidodactylus Lugubris, cause is partogenetic gecko, and he could be fast to breed (but is a little small)
Someone ca say me How many time is needed to stabilize their breeding on a good numbers?

1-2 eggs per breeding, 60 days till hatch, several months to maturity.

It shall require 10-20 females to produce any real numbers for a food source.

thank's, and how much space do you think they need for a stable breeding? (starting with 10-20 with increasing birth)

dont seem right to feed geckos, and i cant see why you would choose this source of food vrs a healthy mouse or rat.

cause if in nature a snake eat gecko I think (if is possible) is right to feed him with, I want breed them to avoid parassitosis, I think captive breed geckos are healty like mouse and don't upset alimentation of specialized snake

a 55 gallon fish tank should work fine for a large colony.

i think its ok to breed lizards as food for special dietery requirements.it is after all imo no different from breeding rats or mice to use as food.i know it may be hard for lizard keepers to stomach but some snakes require a specific diet to thrive and breed.its all mother nature after all.do you have any pictures you could post of your lizard eating snakes.i would like to see what they look like.
cheers shaun

they're in quarantine now, I feed the little in assist feeding (luckily) with pinky and bigger with force (I know is not good, but I've to limitate immunitary suppression derivate to malnutrition) and I'm treating them for enteric parassite.

I think every animal have to maintain their natural habits it's our duty, I now that for lizards keeper is a blasphemy to feed with lizards.
So I wanna grow them with their natural diet, I mustn't shorten lives of my animals cause I wanna bend their nature
