i like these wee dudes mate.i used to watch my mate feed his these really evil maggoty grub like things that hag big pincers and would give you a good nip if you let them.the lizards used to grab them then go over and bash them on a rock to kill them before they ate them.he had a big frog that used to just munch them regardless.arthers looking good rob.congrats on aquiring him.

He is a darling (so far) - he knocked over an ornament last night so i reached in to stand it up and before i knew it he was sat on my shoulder. The claws are fine - he holds on but so far no punctured skin.

He did headbutt me this morning but i woke him up so my fault - he had to be moved as i needed to do some hammering in one of the other vivs and decided it was better he wasnt in his viv whilst i was doing it.

We also fed him this morning - watching him hunt the crickets was awesome - he is SOOO quick!! And shaun - he has some giant mealworms in his viv as well - he also picks them up and bangs them on his basking rock before eating them!!

He cost us £200 - not sure what that is in $ at the moment.

Right around $300 at the moment.

The exchange rate is 1.5 right now.

Well - this guy was bought to keep the wife quiet and in the hope i can get more snakes but i have fallen head over heels in love with him.

He has SSOOOOOO much personality and is really really cheeky. IF we dont feed him quick enough (for him) in the mornings he will jump up onto the ceramic's guard and stare at us until he is fed. We got him a termite tower where you put the crickets inside and they crawl out in their own time so that he gets food over a period of time rather than gorging. He will stick his head into the escape hole (as far as it will go) and then move his head and reach one hand inside and try to grab them. It is so funny to watch - will try to get some pictures of him doing it.

The only downside is the bloody smell when he has a crap!!! never thought something so cute could make a smell that bad!!!
