We dont drop temps - have heard that you need to to help with brumation when breeding but not just for housing snakes generally - hope im right!!

I don't drop my temps at night really. I mean, the temps usually naturally fall in your house at night, which in itself is going to lower the cage temps a bit.

its only morelia i work with and i give them night time drops to match the season i'm trying to replicate.hotter summer, colder winter, etc, etc.ive got one python that goes down to 55f for 4 months of the year (night time low).she also only gets fed 6 month of the year.shes a diamond python and they are classed as true cold weather pythons.the rest of my carpets get an ambient 84f to 86f day 78f to 80f night.
cheers shaun
