You can put neosporin (or generic antibiotic ointment) on her wounds.
It will help if you could post pics.
Taking her to the vet would be a good idea.

Pictures would be helpful. But the Vet is mandatory.

Vet a must. Also i report the person you got it from. The great thing about Neosporin it is you can use it on any kind of wound for human or animal. Keep us inform on how everything goes at the vet. P.S. Good Job on giving this snake a fighting chance. My hat off to you.

as everyone else said neosporine is a good thing to use but make sure it is free of pain killers, you want the original. i agree that a Vet trip is a must also.

I use Silvadine SSD, but a vet must first prescribe it.

as infernalis said pictures would really help us with this one mate.over here we use a diluted iodine soulution to ward of any infections from open wounds.the scabs should come off with the shed.after the first shed it will still look a pale pink colour.after each shed though things should get better and better.

thanks for all the info an help i will get pic up tomorrow i was going to today but got real busy but i got some neosporine an put it on her the vet said things would get better with time he said it was from sheding with out water to moist her skin so i but a big dog water bowl in there for her so i know she will get what she needs in my care thanks again everyone
Not all snakes will soak. Neither my bp, nor my carpet will soak.
There are other ways to keep the humidity up. Regular misting, especially around shedding time, and a good moisture retaining substrate, like cypress can help.

only a few times ive seen any of my carpets soak.imo you should always have a water bowl big enough for them to fit in just in case they need to.all the best with your rescue.
cheers shaun
