awesome geckos man. how hard is it to take care of them and what size cage do you have/they need?

from what i read they are super easy to care for, they are tropical so dont need a heat source unless your house is under 75' or so, they eat repashy food you just mix with water as a full diet, you can feed them crickets as a treat and apples and bananas mashed up,or baby food, optional but the 2 part rapashy food is enouph, they guy sold me the whole package cage and everything for $150 but the cage is to small 12 12 x18 high ecoterra cage, i will rehouse them in my 36x18 x 25 high tank thx again :)

Beautiful pics! I love dalmations. Actually, I never ever use a heat source on my crestie. In the winter his temps average 68 to 69 degrees and in the summer with the ac on it averages 75 to 76. Even in the winter I don't use heat, I just feed him a little less often.

They are still yet to make any eggs, not sure why, im starting to think maybe i should seperate them, then reintroduce the male again later?

As long as they're happy(relocation stress is gone and everything and the conditions are right) then they should breed :D If they've already been introduced by the people you bought them from then the girl might even already be gravid o.O So they usually lay every month or so, so you might wanna get a lay box ready and such =)

hmm well we have had them since june and nothing yet, we have a lay box in since we got them, she goes in their digs around and and chills in their from time to time, but we never find any eggs anywhere, i was told they have already paired and layed eggs before we got them so i dont know whats going on with them....
Perhaps they need a cooling period?

im not sure, i got them out of my snake room atm which is around 68d down from 77 ill be putting them back int he room after i know i have for sure killed the few snake mights i found the other week , how long should i leave them out? couple weeks should do it eh?
One of my library books suggests 60 days of slight cooling.

hey guess what i found today in the cage, a baby cresty that looks just like daddy, the mother found one hell of a hiding place for her eggs in their because we looked and looked time and time again and never found any eggs and still dont see any hatched eggs, their is only 1 baby so im afraid maybe the parents ate one or 2 , im sure hoping only 1 baby hatched. Very cool :) tho, i was looking in the cage today asking my dad when the last time he checked his geckos for eggs and then all of a sudden a leaf moved and i seen a little baby staring at me LOL Sweet !!!! i said in my leachies post that i gave these to my dad long time ago. so hes the lucky guy with the new baby not me but im still stoked about seeing the new little fellow :)

Congrats! :D
I'm pretty sure she'd sooner lay one egg than eat one of her kids :P Maybe you just need to wait a few more days and one more baby will pop up! lol
