Not sure if you guys in the US and other countries will be able to get this but if you can its worth a look.

Our Channel 4 - Channel 4 (http://www.channel4.co.uk) - run a series where they autopsy natures wonders (elephant, giraffe, great white shark etc etc) and have a scientific look at how they work etc etc.

Next Tuesday at 9pm they are looking at GIANT PYTHONS!!

Worth a look for those of you in the UK and anyone else may be able to get a look online?

Will report back once i have seen it!

sorry mate i saw the advert and it completely grossed me out.i presume they kill said animal or use an already dead one from some other cause of death.they then do an autopsy on camera for all to see.im really bad when it comes to medical programmes with operations.anything blood and guts just freaks me out, just cant look.sorry if i sound like a big pansy but thats how i am with stuff like that.i am in no way saying its wrong.i find it very fascinating and educational stuff,so its pretty frustrating it having that effect on me.
cheers shaun

I have not seen the python one but i have watched one on crocodiles, great whites and also lions. It is very interesting to see how it all works. I found the crocodile one extremely interesting.

no they dont kill them, they are naturally died animals, i seen them already, watch the one on the giraff and the beached blue whale, did you know blue whale used to once walk on land and still have residual hip and leg under it skin, its all blood and guts as you would expect from an autopy but if you can stomach this sort of thing it was VERY interesting i seen it flipping through channels and was litterly glued in place with all the very interesting thing they tell you, like the whale leg it was the first time they ever seen one or ever documented., very very cool!! and the girraff as they evolved their neck they evolved valves in veins in their neck so when they bend their neck down their brains dont explode ...just amazing evolution.

I guess it can be quite gory and i promise they dont just kill an animal for the show!!

The science/evolution side of the program i find so fascinating tho.

I really wish i could video it Wayne, but afraid we havent had VHS for about 8 years!!!

I know when a show was on Channel 5 you guys couldnt access the website but has anyone "over the pond" tried the Channel 4 website?

Maybe to you, But I have a Bachman Turner Overdrive reunion concert that a friend taped for me from Canadian TV and I love it. Awesome stuff.

It was a series that ran some years ago called "Jailhouse Rock" and was concerts performed inside the walls of a prison.

Inmates in the USA don't get rock concerts... go figure.
