My burm was in blue...cloudy eyes, couldn't see, and looked like she was about to peel any minute. It's been a week now and she hasn't shed but looks as if she has. Her eyes are clear vibrant skin. I searched all of her cage and no shed, What gives??

What is the humidity in the incloser?
Should be around 70% humidity right now while in shed.
Also get your mist bottle and fill with warm water and spray her down.

sometimes before some snakes shed they go back to looking almost normal, give her some time and i'm sure she'll shed nicely.

Ok i'm not really bothered just curious what was up.....she's been soaking almost non stop.
My bp and carpet did the exact same things this month. A few days before they shed, their skin started looking bright again, and their eyes unclouded. Then about 3 days later they both shed.

I have two small corns one goes from "blue" straight to shed - the other will go from blue back to normal and wait almost 4 or 5 days before actually shedding during which time anyone looking at him would have no idea that he is about to shed.

It takes my Jungle a week or so to shed after she goes into the blue. I am pretty sure if you keep it nice and wet in there your burm will shed.

They pop their eye caps before they shed...in my experience

if your lucky enough to witness the whole process mate it usually goes.
snakes eyes start clouding up over a period of 4 or 5 days
after eyes are at maximum blue they then clear up over a period of 4 to 5 days
the snake usually sheds 4 to 7 days after the eyes clear up
this has been my own personal experience with all my carpets.I'm pretty sure its the same basic process for all snakes
you should have a nice big shed soon mate.
cheers Shaun
