Hi, I'm new here but not new to beardies. :D
I have decided to change the diet of my adult beardies since silkworms have become available to me.
I have cut my beardies cricket supply down to about 2x a month and they are getting their usual salad with rep-cal bearded dragon pellets and silkworms or supers a couple times a week. i'm thinking of eventually switching all the dragons (excluding the hatchlings, as they would get both crickets and silkies) to a staple of silkworms. I have heard these are quite good for them and I find them much easier to handle than the crickets.
just wondering what some other keepers and breeders 2 cents is about this. Thanks.
I just hope I can hold up on the money. lol, silkies are like 5x more expensive than crickets. And I just got the breeding thing down pat. lol.
