Beautiful baby mate - now the fun starts!!! but at least as a grandad you can give them back!!!
Hmmm..... I`ve cleaned up sticky half digested rat, I`ve scooped up fresh snake crap with my bare hands and wiped the arses of rats before I give them to my snakes, but I just don`t think I could change a nappy, I just, I just couldn`t do it......

Her father was changing her while we were there, and she "made more" while he was changing her!
You get used to it, I have 3 kids of my own, but they wipe their own bottoms now. ;)
Any child of mine would need to be born with advanced toilet skills lol ;D Not that I`ll ever have a child but hey, adoption allows for the selection of a child that doesn`t need wiping! lol Because that`s the only challenge of raising children isn`t it?! hahahaha ooooh dear, it`s past my bed time... :)

Just when you think you have got past one "stage" and can chill along comes another one!!!
And there are so many stages!!
Last night we asked our 14 year old daughter to feed the dogs, she spent 30 minutes arguing about it, then locked herself in her room.
it takes 2 minutes tops to put dog food in 3 bowls and sit them on the floor!
Children are challenging to raise, and the process can make you go mental at times.

i hear you mate, bringing up kids can drive you nuts...!! the older they get the more complicated the problems become.one example being, they pass their driving test.2 minutes after that they think they invented bloody driving.....!!!
your new grandaughters beautiful mate.
to be honest imo i think boys are easier to bring up.i have 3 sons and 1 daughter.it would have drove me completely nuts if had been the other way around.daughters at 14 years of age is a very scary time for good old dad.
" hey dad meet my new boyfriend,i love him "
cheers shaun

my wife and i decided to have our kids young.that way when we were older we could enjoy a bit of life and not be geriatric's.now we have 3 grandkids and a fourth on the way.so much for our plan of a nice quiet life when we hit 40,haha
our house is noisier than its ever been.....!!!
cheers shaun

I think raising children is the most challenging and rewarding thing - trouble is you don't know if you are doing a good job until about 25 years down the line when its too late to change anything!!

I'm with you on that Shaun, My first born is 27 now, my youngest is 10.
I may complain a bit, but honestly will be lost if the house suddenly went quiet.
Hmmmmm... I can imagine.....

lol thats funny, yesterday my sister came over with her 2 young girls,4 and 7, they are eating ice cream the older one takes a bit from the little ones bowl... the little one cried so long about how it was her bowl and its now its tainted, the ice cream turned into just a bowl of cream then she didnt want it anymore. lol good times
