Don't quite know why we seem to always be behind on everything, but here's our first clutch of the season just laid today! This girl should be the beginning of a number of good things coming, with what should be 11 more clutches following hers. She's been bred to a pinstripe male.
Better late than never I guess!

Secondly, late clutch? It's still pretty early in the season for eggs! You're on time.

I have to agree on that most of my girls haven't laid yet, I had 2 early clutches that were well ahead of my plans

I just meant that many others in our area have had clutches already so we were just behind compared to them. Thanks for the kind words.

Oh, well they are just being early! I know plenty of people just starting to get clutches. The full swing of the season is yet to come!
