Sweet! I love how her color changes. She really looks cool in the light phase. My borneo head color always changes a feed time. I hear it common in Bloods, Short Tail Pythons, and Jaguar. Has to do with their moods.

Beautiful boas Jendee! I just picked up a Kahl salmon hypo possible jungle male from Rick Krumrine yesterday- he's awesome and has a really reduced pattern with neat bowtie looking saddles on him. I'm so in love with hypo boas, and your girl is stunning- I love how much her color changes between light and dark phases. I've never really noticed different phases in my hypos- are the color changes associated more with a certain line or is it an all hypos do it thing?

Gorgeous boa you have there. also liking the CTK :) I had one until a few months ago when i sold it and bought an Akai. Kind of wish i kept it.

oh and willow sorry I didnt answer ur question, Most all boas have a light and dark phase. Usualy after feeding, when they are hot or cold or during shed.
She is a hypo harlequin het albino..the harley in her makes it real extreme!

Lol, no sweat. I bought him from Rick Krumrine, who'd gotten him from Pete Kahl, and they couldn't decide whether he was definitely a jungle or not, but his markings are quite peculiar, with very reduced crescents and bowties and interesting stripes around the face, so I'm thinking he will most likely prove out when bred to my hypo het anery gal.
