I'm fairly new to the world of Amazon Tree Boas, but have gotten off to a bang with 4 in house and a fifth on the way soon! Happily so! After that I've been informed by the grinch at my home (Sarge) that there are to be no more for now.... (that will last a month! Whee)

So here they are:

Muppet is a very tiny ATB who required assist feeding up until about 6 feedings ago, born in Nov 2009 he is still only 14 gms in size but a voracious eater! He knows how to get his Nom Nom On!

Jubokko (aka Jubbie) is a wee one as well though he is about 36 gms at this time, born in Dec 2009. He's just as intense as can be!

Next Acorn...she is abit over a year of age. Based on her spur size I am hoping she is female however I have yet to have her sexed. She has been with me for a bit over a month and weighs 79 gms. She's a doll and a half!

Last but not least is the ATB known formerly as Rusty. No he's not dead however he is due for a name change and I've not figured out what it is to be. He was named by his breeder... He's been in shed since just after he arrived so I've not had a chance to really get a feel for what his name should be. He weighs 39 gms and was born in Nov 2009.

Totally posted in the wrong thread at first haha. Multiple tabs failure. Sweet ATB's. Do you stockpile bandages or do you have cat-like speed and reflexes? Absolutely love the second to last pic.

Those snakes look awesome - not sure if its just camera angles but their heads look too big for their bodies?

lol no worries! No....I wish I could say I had cat-like speed/reflexes...I just read their lil body messages to me. All of these are captive bred Amazon's which makes for a much better handling experience in my opinion. I've really had a good success with each, once in hand they are very tame, not aggressive at all...I've needed more bandages with my BP's then these!

The ATB's have a very slender body compared to their heads actually:

So as you can see their head is like double wide. (that shot was a comparison shot for feeder size for him) Their little necks are like pencil thin as babies. So their heads totally look disportionate to their bodies!

WOW! They are incredible! I love ATBs but haven't been able to find any that are not incredibly nippy. I've lucked out enough with my ETBs, guess I can't find tame everything..lol. I really love the second picture- the colors on that one are amazing, and your camera skills are really great too!

lol well thank you! At least you didn't say I had Mad Cow  Skillz!

And ty -with Muppet, he's sensational to begin with so doesn't take too much skill to capture his killer face and personality!

With the ATB's I'd suggest going with CBB babies. I'd heard all the horror stories about them and so far they have all disproved them to me.

And ty ty ty for the compliments :)
