I love snakes. My wife... not so much.

However, she fell in love with puget sound garter snakes. Unfortunately, we can't find a breeder.

Does anyone know of a breeder? (Scott Felzer's Garter Snakes isn't expecting any Pugets this year)

I was supposed to get a female on loan for my male, I will contact the gal with the female and see if we are still on for this.

Just a quick warning, the guy that goes by "bob" on KS does not breed snakes, he lives in Puget sound, so he just gathers up WC animals.

I didn't know that, and I purchased my male from him. I had to take my snake to the vet within a week of buying him.

Scott's blue radix (axanthic) are a pretty blue AND much more mellow temperament.

Temperament isn't a *huge* issue. She doesn't want a snake to handle, she just wants a snake to look at.

still keeping my eyes open, the young lady who was going to send me her girls for breeding never did.

I have to learn to quit getting to excited counting the chickens before they hatch.
