Need help with my Emperor Scorpion

i saw on a post previously that organic soil works and pine shavings dont, would an alternative that is safe/healthy be to just go outside and dig up some dirt/soil???:confused:

:)Hello and welcome!:) The person to ask would be willow. She's the only one i know for sure that keeps scorpions. I would say you could, but not really a good idea.

Hello and welcome. I would not recommend going out and just digging up dirt due to the risk of parasites, and bugs in there that could kill the scorps. I keep a pair of Yellow-banded flat rock scorpions, and I have them on a mixture of sand and EcoEarth (shredded coconut husk). Emperor scorpions require a higher humidity than do flat rocks, so I would recommend just going with straight up EcoEarth.
