Hi all I am new to this forum and forums in general. I have owned snakes for about a year and a half and currently have only a mexican black king. Plan on getting a new one soon (don't really know what yet though). well any way i don't have a whole lot of experience with snakes. i have been doing my homework, though and know a little bit about snakes. I love them and some would say (especially my girlfriend) that i am obsessed. hoping to meet some people who share my interest and have a little (or a lot) more experience than I do to help me out if i need it. in return i will share my (maybe feeble) knowledge with though who have any questions.

Oh I very nearly bought a pair of those a year or two back ! I`ve always regretted not buying them, they`re a beautiful snake. Welcome to the forum Dragonov :) I`m so jealous that you have a Dragonov you lucky bugger, no such luck for me ! I for one would be interested in a few photographs of it if that`s allowed...... :D

Oh man, you have an AR-15 too? I am completely jealous you lucky b**tard! I have a Springfield Armory XDm-9, an FEG .380ACP, and a Mossberg 802 Plinkster .22 rifle. I am now looking at pump action shotguns.

oo yea i got one of them too it is a 1940's 20 gauge pump action savage arms my great grandpa gave me. it is a little shot gun but i like it. how do you like the Xd i was looking at them but i don't know anyone who has one. i was debating between it and a glock sub compact.

I looked at the old Xd's and liked them, but the new XDm just blew my mind. I absolutely LOVE it; it's so easy to rack and shoots very straight. It's very accurate, which helps since I am still not that great. Getting better with practice, but I've only been shooting for about a year. I would definitely recommend the XDm, cannot go wrong with that gun. It also holds 19 rounds in the mag plus one in the chamber. When I got it there was an offer to send away for a free mag holder and an extra mag. So I have 2 magazines for it, which is great because I keep one loaded with hollowpoint next to the gun in my nightstand in case of need for self-defense, and I use the other mag for regular target rounds. I don't know if that offer is still going on, but even if it isn't the gun is not terribly expensive for what it is. :)
