i have a glass visionarium & was planning on using the healthy habitat cleaner spray from reptiledirect.com.
it has a couple of very positive reviews referring to using it in reptile enclosures.
can someone check it out & give me your feedback? i dont wanna use bleach cuz thats bad for even us so...yeah.
Bleach is perfectly suitable for everything to do with a ball pythons, except a bath (and that's the common sense in me getting out again).
I wear a ventilator when I'm at the facility at all times as well.
I use bleach in a 33:1 dilution for everything from cleaning water bowls, to enclosures, to utensils. Wiped afterwards of course...
You can spend far to much money unnecessarily or you can use what works. Again, no reason to re-invent the wheel.

I use vinegar glass cleaner... Never use ammonia based glass cleaner. (common sense)
Bleach works well, and mostly I like hot water and a sponge.

I use what Wayne uses. Mykee's way is also an option. I just don't trust myself with chemicals and dilution.

When will the summer tours of this facility commence?
Alright Aaron, I'm busted.
When I say "facility" what I really mean to say is an overturned cardboard Maytag refridgerator box in the alley that I keep a few ball pythons and a couple rats in.
Don't you just hate it when people try to make their breeding operations sound better than they really are by using words like "cardboard" and "alley"? :sorry: ;)

i have to be careful what cleaners i use, bleach included, cuz i'm super sensitive to smells. it takes almost nothing to make me nauseous. does the vinegar/water mixture cut through pee on glass? i'm looking for something that's more "natural" & environment-friendly with little to no smell. i'm making it very difficult for myself, i know, but this is just me.

Vinegar windex, I have used it for years without a problem.
I wipe the inside with hot water and a sponge and jazz up the outside with vinegar windex, and the cages stay nice.
