british tv on wednesday

thought the british members of the forum might like to watch a programe this coming wednesday on channel 5.its called THE MAN WHO INJECTS VENOM.the advert for it shows you this guy milking venom then injecting it straight into one of his viens.....!!! would love to hear what we all think after we see this programe on wednesday 14th april.

I've seen a guy in the states who has done this for decades now. What he has been doing is having his body build up it's on immunity to these venoms. I'm sure if you look it up you'll find plenty of video on youtube, or look up national geographic stuff.

Wow, that is....interesting. I guess it makes some sense, if he intends to work with venomous snakes it would be good to build up immunity. Just seems a bit crazy to inject yourself with deadly venoms, but I will have to look it up and see what I can find. My curiosity is very piqued! Thanks Aaron!

in the brief advert for it the guy looked like he was doing it for some wierd buzz...!! he looked like a junkie that used snake venom instead of the usual crap they stick in themselves.in britain we only have 5 standard channels (the rest we get through satalite tv) willow so i'm not sure how you would be able to view it.jonnyg is from over here and now lives in the states,if there was a way to get british tv over there he would be the man who would know how to go about it.i know its a long shot willow but may be worth pm'ing him to ask.

another option is if someone recorded it, I have the necessary equipment & software to convert the video to be playable in the US/Canada.

I`ve heard of prisoners catching venomous spiders and "getting off" on the venom, even people growing ergot on rye bread to sniff and start tripping, injecting snake venom is about as nuts as those lol I think I might have seen it though, was he bald and quite tall?

I honestly wouldnt know where to start in terms of transferring the show onto PC - News, entertainment, sport and drama from Channel Five at Five.tv (http://www.five.tv) is the website for the channel its on - not sure if the show can be picked up from there in any way - will take a look and report back!


Just looked - there is an "on demand" section to the site but requires registering with the site to access - can any "foreigners" give it a try and see if it works?

Well the registration worked, but when I click on things to watch, it tells me I can't watch them from my current country or location. Bugger!

it looked like he was in his late 20's early 30's.he had long'ish black curly'ish hair.looked like he was on trailer park or a farm house down south.it showed a prefab type house with a few scrap cars in the garden.it was a quick clip mate so i'm not sure how accurate ive been.it showed you him with venom in a syringe and was about to inject his arm that had marks all over where he'd previously did it.he was buming about how he new what he was doing then started to describe how it felt as the venom entered his bloodstream.the was putting it right into a vein,so directly into his blood stream.

that was a good idea mate,i'm that used to shouting on one of my kids when things go wrong with the technology in my house,that i'm worse than usless when it comes to this stuff.i think my oldest son has a day of work before the programme comes on.i'll see if he can come up with a way to get it to the states.

just saw this venom guy on a chat show today.he's from the states and claims an old guy who's now 99 years old showed him how to do it.the expert who was monitoring venom guy said his 43 year old body was showing the test results of him being 15 year younger.venom guys pleading the case for injecting venom keeping you young...!! pretty nutty i thought since venom usually shortens your life any other time,haha cant wait to see his full story tonight.
