I came across these articles today and thought they were pretty cool. There seems to be several reported cases of parthenogenesis in Rhacodactylus leachianus geckos. In the wild in New Caledonia, Leachies are found in small, isolated populations with limited gene pools. It's not too far a stretch in my eyes for this to be a valid possibility. The second link is more of an anecdote but the first one is quite interesting.
