I live in Polokwane,Limpopo province,South Africa. I love all snakes,lizards,geckos,agamas,monitors etc. Ive been into hots for a while,but my mother wont let me keep em,so my couzin kindly houses them. Im interested in all reptiles from all over,might be able to answer a question here and there regarding exotics,but pretty clued up on local herps,specifically hots. Il be in the general venomous forum if u want to talk to me,not very sure how everythng around here wrks yet. Regards.

I currently have a juv female puff adder(Bitis arietans) and juv female M'fezi or mozambique spitting cobra(Naja mosambica)and exotics juv male and female white lipped tree viper(Trimeresurus albolabris). Currently posting from my phone,will make a plan for pics when i get to a pc :). Do u have any herps ?

I will have some pics available soon,i hope. since my couzin lives 200km away ! Roughly 400 miles i think,but not too sure. So i cover costs and he houses. I have only one herp staying with me at the moment,a juvenile brown/African house snake(some debate to wether the above mentioned and the cape house snake are different species) both are mentioned as Lamprophis fuliginosus or Lamprophis capensis. I am also expecting a flap necked chameleon(Chameleo dilepis) soon:)

hello and welcome,like hillary i dont trust myself to keep hots.i keep australian pythons (morelia).percey39 on this forum keeps loads of hots.i'm sure you'll both have plenty to talk about.i really like the head shape of your puff adder.he looks very,very dangerous though ...!!

yeah that adder looks amazing lol i keep pretty much anything i can get my hands on OTHER than hots... i dont trust myself with those just yet lol... right now im really into Rainbow Boas and more tropical species, but i have a brazilian rainbow and a brooks kingsnake, my gf has red eyed tree frogs and a veiled chameleon. hope to see some more pics soon!

Yes I do. I have 2 snakes right now. A Female Jungle Carpet Python, and a Male Califorina Kingsnake. I am hopping to get a Green Tree Python within a few months:)

Nice puff adder and cobra, both species would be very unforgiving to keep but worth every bit of it. I really love the pattern on the adder. Haha as Shaun has said i keep a lot of hots, but only australian species. Im very jealous of anyone with cobras and vipers. I cant wait to see some more photos.

Here is a herald up close,so that you can see the red lip,not very prominent in this specimen though. I have a friend who has some nice ones,will post pics of them next week or so.

Forgot to add that the heralds are rear fanged,venomous,but no toxic symptoms have been recorded in humans to my knowledge. hope you like the pics :)
