A good friend just asked me to stud my male with her 2 females in exchange for a few of the babies. What a great offer.
First is my boy "Sky" (I will get some pictures of the ladies real soon)

Thanks A bunch.
I had 2 Blue Ordinoides Garter snakes, they died last year, Both were runts that failed to thrive.
I also have a blue Radix (It's a genetic anomaly) I will put up some pics when I get back from town.

No I did not.
Actively looking to get another, but from a better source. I bought Sky from a dude that catches wild snakes and sells them. (poacher) I didn't know it at the time.

 I didn't know that. That sucks. I have been showing Sky off to hubby an son. Hubby was very impressed with Sky and trust me, that means a lot coming from him because he is not a coldblooded lover like I am.

It does still seem odd seeing another snake in his cage to this day.

 Never gets easy to have a pet pass away. All you can do is know you did the best you could for them at that time..
That sucks! Sky was absolutley beautiful! I might have to get into garters one day.

I have shipped hundreds and have had no transit fatalities.
Do you know where I could get one like Sky and how much they cost?

Just keep scanning the ads on Kingsnake on a regular basis.
Our sister forum at Garter Snake Forum (http://www.thamnophis.com) also has everyone you would need to talk too and a classified section.

Thamnophis dot com has a few Canadian members.
The blue Puget sound garters have been found in the wild over the border before, so it seems like someone should have them.
