View Full Version : Tazer, my striped Kingsnake
Here`s Tazer, my striped Kingsnake, he`s just lovely ! I`m actually hoping he`s a she, I might have a think about putting him to a Cornsnake and producing some Junglecorns if he is, I`ve got a nice big male he won`t be eating in a hurry! lol I`d have to have a think about it though, not sure if the whole hybredisation thing is something I`m happy to do just yet....

He/she`s dog tame BUT.... Disturb him when he`s in blue and he goes totally potty!! lol He really doesn`t like even being looked at the wrong way when he`s in blue! He`ll rear up and do a bit of a display too. It`s only ever an accident if I do disturb him obviously, I don`t want him being aggresive if I can help it, he`s a lovely snake and I`d like to be able able to handle him with no problems ! lol Every single Kingsnake bite I`ve had has gone on for half an hour or so! lol :D

In case of snakebite:
1) Fill a pan or your sink with water and immerse your hand & snake's head under the water. The snake will let go when it realizes it cannot breathe because its head is under water.
2) See my signature below.
Tazer's definitely a gorgeous snake.
Yeah I usually just run thier heads under the tap, I don`t think I`ds want to immerse my snake in water, I`d rather have him hanging off me than drowned ! lol The tap usually works though doesn`t it lol :D The problem is they let go then bite on somewhere else straight away don`tr they ! lol :D

id be careful if you do try and breed her with a corn. my cali king attacked my RTB when my fiance and i had them both out at the same time. she lunged a good foot too and tagged the boa right on the head. no snakes were injured but it freaked us both out. we now only get one snake out at a time.
Yeeeeah decided against that anyway. Had a good think about it and no, I just don`t like the idea of it. I missed out on an Ebay item today because I got side tracked, I usually chuck more money on right at the end and that works for me. If I hadn`t have got distracted I`d now be the owner of a bipod from a Dragonov :( I`m making a stock for a Brocock and that would have been a great addition to the rifle :(
I would be very very wary of trying to cross anything with a kingsnake. They're snake eaters.
I know they are Nafun, as I say I`m not going to do it anyway. Kingsnakes need special care to be taken even if you breed them with other Kingsnakes, they are just as likley to attack the other snake if it`s the same species.... He`s one of the few snakes I`ve got that I`m not going to breed. I keep him because he`s gorgeous. :) He`s got a right attitude on him sometimes too! lol
