Is this due to females having the ability to retain sperm or is it a gene thing?

Pic2: Male
Pic3: All other produced from pair

VERY COOL! I wish i had a oops like that. That is just so sweet looking.
It's probably a "gene thing" hahaha, but since I know next to nothing about leopards, I can't really help lol. Do you know what morphs mom and dad are?
The baby is super cute :) It looks like a patternless...
i would say you have 2 normals het for blizzard. Nice :)

I am chuffed! Morphs like this cost same as my tokay :) Yea i think Parlor is right there, male and female normals although the male got a lil high yellow blood in him, "oops" must be blizzard according to google and most gecko experts.
I know you guys dont know much about leos but can somebody please explain to me how genetics work?

from my ***LIMITED*** knowledge i believe that each offspring produced can carry a gene which will cause another morph when paired with a mate which carries the same gene or is Heterozygous? am i right here?
anyways its almost a hit or miss system as you can never be 100% sure what pops out but you can increase your chances a lot with specific lines of mates which is when you hear 75% het for "insert morph here". again, feel free to correct me if im wrong
so to my knowledge, if leo A is het for morph X at 50% and leo B is het for morph X at 50% you would potentially get 50% offspring with morph X? is this right?
thats just my two cents please teach me more everyone! and feel free to correct me cause i would love to learn more about this stuff!

Makes sence, so male and female both had blizzard blood in them. How come the first male they produced is a blizzard and all other after normals? If i keep on trying ill get more?
A pair of normals wil always produce normals.
A normal and a blizzard will produce all normals that are 100% het for blizzard.
2 Normals that are 100% het blizzard will Produce some normals, some blizzards. Each normal has a %50 chance of beign het for blizzzard.
An animal that is %50 het means you won't know if it is or isn't het till you breed it. So if your breed an animal that is 50% het blizzard to a blizzard and get blizzard babies, the 50% het animal is now a confired het blizzard.

ahh that makes sense lol am i on the right track with my genetics though? ive been trying to learn but sometimes it gets confusing lol
So I wanted to check the % of each eggs before posting.
These are your baby chances;
25% Normal
50% Normal HET Blizzard
25% Blizzard
The genetics of all this can get overwhelming, just take time and learn it bit by bit an you will be just fine. It took a few months for me to get all the Dom, Co-Dom and Recessive %'s and what makes what down.
