I was cleaning the flying gecko hatchlings home and we ended up taking some pics of the cute little horde.

These are one of my fav reptiles to work with. I am trying to build up a large enough breeding population to provide quality unrelated pairs that are truly CBB.

Canadian vendors seem more adventurous than our US vendors, I have never seen a flying gecko at show.

You can find them on sale in Edmonton every once in a while. They are get display pets when you can find them. Mine always hide out till the food comes out then you can them perk up and strike. They are a very interesting pet, and you certainly have had luck in breeding them. Congratulations.

I didn't see any there but I wasn't there toooo long. If there were any they'd almost certainly be WC unfortunately.

Why are they your favourite to work with? Just out of curiosity.

They are interesting animals. The WC adults will slyly watch you, they peek out from behind cage decorations and just watch you. They are fairly active at night, eat most any feeder insect. They can be fairly vocal, something I look for in a gecko species.

The WC's tend to be vicious, like a tokay or crocodile gecko. The CBB hatchlings can be rather tame when worked with. Easily becoming as tame as a crested or leopard gecko.

They can change color to match their surounding, their visual camo is excellent.

They simply look cool :)
