So we rescued Elvira about 8 months ago from a home who had her and was afraid of snakes. Her care was minimal, they tossed a mouse into her plastic tub home every 2-3 months and tried to keep her water bowl full.

Well she got aggressive and tried to eat the lady of the house, next day she was mine

She has really turned into a sweet lovely RTB

nice boa mate,i got a jungle carpet that had pretty much been treated the same.he was a year old when i got him and very aggressive due to being void of human contact.i tried for over a year to calm him down but he's still the most aggressive snake i have ever owned.poor guys going to be nervous all his days so i'll keep him as ive got to know his nature quite well.the only time he's out his tank is when i clean it.he lets me change his water ok and has never missed a feed.i think he's just not keen on humans.

These pics were taken many months after we got her. When we 1st got her she was about 3' long and big around as a corn snake, we know she was at least 1 year old when we got her.

We have no idea what type of RTB she is. The local experts all come up with a different answer for her morph and sub species.

I think we are fortunate she was only aggressive cuz she was hungry. After a few feeds she became a very calm snake.

In 3 months we will of had her for a year :)
