Nice shots, Chuck. Did you get any of your yellow anaconda?
Oh yeah! He was in shed so his color a little dull. First time i handle him in shed that he didn't try biting. Normally when in shed i leave him completely only. Since he was being good i kept it short and sweet 10 minutes and back in the cage he went no problems.:D

Love the bredli mate... Here's a little tip (if I may), ever thought of providing heat via an MVB or giving your bredli a high UVB source? I can promise you in a couple of months with exposure to UVB, your bredli will be more red :D

I have noticed since moving my snakes to the smaller snake room for the winter that my Bredli and BRB have both gotten quite a bit darker. In the bigger snake room they got tons of natural sunlight shining in lighting up the room. In the room they are in now they only get a forth of the light. On cloudy day i turn their lights on, but i guess i should do it every day. Thanks for the advice Red i'll give it a try. :)

Oh man. How big is she Chuck ?
8.5 feet and weighs 14.3lbs.

On her nose she has a scar from a dead rat. I had given her a frozen thaw rat. She hit it and wrapped. When she did she popped it mouth open. As she was wrapping the teeth dug into her nose. So she wrapped even tighter digging them in deeper. I had to reach in and pull the rats head back. Then try getting her to let go of it. I had to put neosporin on it for almost six months. It was almost 4 years ago and she still has a lump there. The vet said he could remove it but it would leave a bigger scar. Since it doesn't bother her or cause in issues we decided to just leave it there.

Thank Alessia, got a new camera a little while ago, don't have a good enough lense to get up close, saving up though. Pearl and Brood get along quite well, Brood I find gets more out of being out with Pearl then when he is alone, find he gets quite upset and doesn't move around alot and he is easily spooked but when I take him out with Pearl he is a lot calmer and likes to explore more usually following Pearl.

Yeah, sevvvveral years down the road from now. I'm no where near ready for it. I'm finishing up college, then work, then grad school. I'll only do it when I have the time, space, and financial ability to do it, and homes for all the babies. But yeah, I hope to pass his pretty genes some day :)

I love the little evil/alien faces the dumerils have. My two don't have the little eye looking markings...I'm almost jealous! lol

My two are much darker than yours (they're probably alot older) and combine the dark head with the almost black eyes, along with the evil/alien faces on their saddles....yep....they look evil...but far from it lol

Sorry Eli but all of my snakes have a forever home with me. Me and my wife have talked about what would happen to my snakes if something ever happen to me. My daughter Amber gets first pick of any she wants. My buddy Shawn get my Dumeril and BRB. The rest Tami would sell. The only snake i have that no one seem to what is my Yellow Anaconda. Shawn said if she couldn't find a home for him he would take him, but only as a last resort.

I'm the same. Mostly pythons but boas run a close second. I had a king several rears ago and, although he intimidated me at first, he grew on me. I loved his personality and that's the only reason I got another king a couple of months ago. So far this one is similar but in alot of ways very different! She's still very intertaning, but in a different way. I've often thought about getting a corn, but at the moment I'm just not feeling it...probably because I have yet to experience one. Maybe after we move and settle.

Ive never had a King but they are pretty. As far as Corns are concerned I only see plusses with them. They are very handleable, feed very well, are very hardy and pretty all in the same pkg. In addition, the variety of morphs for Corns is unmatched, even by Balls. I dont see any drawbacks with Corns at all. They will never be my primary focus however. Dums and Macks take that spot but Corns are very fun.
