The server we are on had a hard drive that was bad, which caused the second hard drive to become read only so that there would be no data lose. The problems was we has a similar problem a couple weeks back, and the tech moved our database from one drive to the other. So when the problem occurred this time, the database and the backup were on the same drive. So the only one they could recover was the database from the 26th of January. Which is why the forum was up and running with the old posts for a couple hours. Lucky we take nightly backups so we were able to recover to the previous days. So now you know the rest of the story. :)

It was not great, and very stressful but I have a better idea of what has to be done to insure our communities future, so some good will come out of it.
