well for this one the method of making the styrofoam model wass maded just like this in the video
YouTube - Robc's 3-D Backdrop Tutorial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fk0ahajh71c)

and after that i use tile adhesive (looks like cement but when is dry is more much hard the cement and stand well....
for this one i don t use any coloring. This is the color adhesive and after thjree layers of adhesive i varnished, with non -toxic lacquer(seal or how it s must to say)
...

now this is my first terrarium & background i made for my boa in september 2008 ,but after an year i sold him an the terri

the terri is made in an old furniture .,put some vents and the background and done ..

Looking good! I like that one for your leo. Only thing is that you don't want to have the light bulbs exposed as your snakes could badly burn themselves. (I'm referring to the first photo)

thanks
in first photo was a lizard (house gecko).and he don t have any problem with the bulb light ..
but now speaking seriously i think u don t have any option to "hide"the light bulb in enclosures ,a snake or a lizard if realy want to 'touch" the bulb they can ....i a word ...only if u use heat pads for heating is safe ..but till now i have no problem with my reptiles (touching the bulb light )

bye

no problems yet but when we see another "help my reptile is half burned to death thread", what then?

no method of heating is safe unless used in combination with a thermostat and there are tons of options to cover up an exposed bulb inside an enclosure.

i have cages round all my bulbs so no matter how hard a snake trys to get contact with them its physically impossible.
cheers shaun
