Really nice looking king snake! My friend Shawn as one. funny story: he called me up in July one day asking if i could come over a help remove it from his finger. We tried everything running water,try to pry it's mouth open, try rubbing alcohol nothing worked. His finger started turning black and blue. The whole time it kept grinding it teeth into his finger. So after 45 minutes i remember reading where someone got a retic to release by blowing smoke in it's face. So we got he neighbor to come over (neither one of us smoke) an blow smoke in it face. It let go insteadly. It was so funny because Shawn looked like he was going to faint. I laught my butt off. Well i thought it was funny. Anyway they're some really cool snakes.

that was funny. i could relate thats why i call him chucky he's a biter.

That is a great looking snake. How old is Chucky? pinks or fuzzy mice?

My '09 Pueblan looks about the same size.

Oh BTW I have a black racer, a melanistic (all black) garter snake and 2 nearly all black Midwestern garter snakes, so I am rather partial to black snakes. I one day hope to have a black king and a black rat snake too.

he's still on pinky's i offered him a fuzzy,but he refused so il just keep him on pinky's a while longer until he's ready. infernalis i hope u could post some pics of your snakes they sound great
