I use the Nix method and LOVE it. It is easy, it works really well, it is not nearly as toxic to the animals as most of the other methods, it kills the eggs too, and it leaves a nice, clean smell to the cages and animals. I highly recommend it.
Ive used and like the NIX on everything except my smallest corns. Once found mites o na couple of small corns and used it and they both died like over night so i just dont trust it for small pnes.

Ditto to the above. 1 bottle from your local pharmacy and a gallon of spring water and you'll be set for any future infestations. Just remember to keep it away from sunlight as this breaks down the active ingredients.

My small corn snakes were fine; one is still eating ravenously, the other is shedding as I type this (hopefully eat pinkies today). :) Also; the nix nixed the mites! :)

hello and welcome,i use prevent a mite.its a spray it does not kill the eggs but remains active for a month so it kills them as they hatch.after 30 days there are no mites.you have to take water bowl and snake out while you spray the viv also take out and spray any viv accesorys (do not spray water bowl, just clean it with hot water).leave for 2 hours then put snake and bowl back in.its never let me down or harmed a snake in my use of it.its made in america so should be available to you.
