FIRST ATTEMPT AT BREEDING MY LITTLE BABIES :)
Just wondering if this is a 'lock' or not. I've seen them do this a few times in different positions (tee hee) and finally got a decent picture. The male is the one on top and you can see his whole body with the female on the bottom. It seems to me like he may be too high up for them to be mating but I can't tell for sure.

Yes, their tails intertwine, and if you can get a look at the tails, you'll be able to see the hemipenes inserted into the female. Their bodies can be in pretty much any position, but they are usually coiled together, and the tails are draped off to the side intertwined.

A "lock" is useless unless it lasts 12-48 hours. Something else to keep in mind.

Good to know.I have only seen them do this for about an hour or 2 at a time.
