I bought a "Zoo Med ReptTemp 500R Thermostat Remote Sensor for Reptiles" August second and yesterday in shorted out and caught fire. Luckily my fiance was in the room, saw it happen and was able to put the fire out with no damage but I shudder to think what would have happened had she not been there.
