She is absolutely gorgeous! I love the yellow spots outlined in black on her back, and that awesome face! Really stunning chondro!

Thank you for the compliment! What impresses me more(and scares the crap outta me) is her impressive dentition. I have yet to be bitten by her but I'm sure she packs a wallop! I think that's the technical term...

Oh I know what you mean. I have had a female Sorong? I think? GTP since April, and she's about 4 feet or so, but has a small head. The male I just got is easily a foot and half longer and his head is twice the size of hers. He had to go to the vet for a mouth abscess and when the vet got his mouth open, his darned teeth are like a quarter inch or more each!!! I am sooo sooo very glad he is not aggressive. eeek- I shudder to think what those chompers would feel like...

ooooh she is not... She escaped from her cage and was gone for a month due to my underestimation of her quantitative skills. the only reason she let me handle her that time is because she was too dehydrated to care. she recovered well (as the pics prove) but she hunts me (and the cats and dogs) whenever we walk into the room her cage is housed in. She is beautiful, but an efficient killer. Good thing I'm not into Retics or I would be a goner...

Lol. That's a shame. I guess I'm pretty lucky that both my GTPs are handleable. My boy Archimedes got rather pissy last night though- he is being given antibiotics for an abscess and the needle got stuck in a scale and I had to work it out. He was not a happy camper the rest of the night but he still did not bite at me, thank God. My female tries to hunt me sometimes- I cannot go near her when it's dark outside even if the room lights are on. She will let me hold her during the day though, if I catch her when she isn't hunting..lol...which is becoming less and less frequent. I'd swear she's insatiable snake- she'll eat two rat weanlings and have a big swollen belly and still be hunting again that very next day...
