Hi,
I was recently in Ghana. Outside the city of Aburi I was fortunate to see a snake. It was rather small (70 - 80 cm.) This snake was in a silver color (or greyish) and had two greenish stripes extending from its head. It puzzled me that it was so light. The area where we spotted it is a typical ghanian rural area with fields. Close by are some mountains as well. The snake ventured into the grass rather fast so obviously I could not monitor it for a long time. I am rahter sure about itīs complexion though.
Does anyone have any idea what kind of snake this could have been?
I would very much appreciate an answer.
Sincerely,
Peter, Sweden
