Hi all. My name is Nate. I'm from Indiana but i live in Canada. I recently Got back into the hobby. I have a female hog island boan and a female "ivory anery" boa, both only a few months old. They're my first two snakes since Cortez, my retic I had in college some 16yrs ago. I'm extremely excited to be back in the hobby! I look foward to learning a lot from everyone here.

Welcome- and congrats on getting back into the hobby! I'd love to see some pics of your boas. I don't think I've ever seen an ivory anery.

Yeah, pics would be awesome - especially of your Hogg, I am getting a Hogg in Decemeber, but a male. Welcome to the forum. I love this one :)

I haven't gotten any good pics of the "Ivory" anery yet, but here's a shot of her tail where you can kinda see here colors. She hatched sometime in mid-July also. She was the darkest one in the clutch, She's kind of a creamy grey with white and black markings. I got her from Henry Piorun and he bred her from two snakes he got from Jeff Ronne.

Ahhh...she is soooo adorable. I can't wait to get my Hogg. Did you buy her from a breeder in Canada? I am trying to ensure that I get a pure Hogg, so I don't end up with a snake that has been crossed with a larger boa, thus producing a snake larger than 4-5 feet - hence, why I have to have a male - parental rule :( I would have a Suriname rt boa if I had my druthers. Great pics, and thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see more pics of the "ivory" anery.

Jeff is in B.C. He's a really nice guy too. He's been awesome answering all my questions. I highly recommend him.

Ahh..really beautiful gal! Actually, since I live in the U.S., isn't it kind of a pain(filling out form and such) to purchase from a breeder in Canada? I could be totally wrong, but I have never done any international buying.
