Willow, who do you think I mean?
Why isn't there a "smacking yourself on the forehead" smiley? I think this would be a good time to use it...

I'm new. Lol so I'm thinking that 'terriers' is a snake jargon for...say 'really big rats'? Maybe TO SK8TER Can enlighten us? *(meaning me :) )

I never expected a male Burmese to get so big! Its like impossible for me to measure him accurately, i would estimate him at over 16 feet. I do know that he weighs 310 pounds, and i do NOT know how the hell i can lift that dude out of his cell! lol

You use more than yourself to handle him at that size.
Also, just because it's a male it doesn't mean it will stay small. Most people really don't own these animals long enough to see them get to their full potential. As well, most are underfed. Lastly, let's not forget that the giants are being bred at smaller sizes so the owner can profit quicker.
Also, 310 Lbs at 16 feet? Seems a little overweight. Bob Clark's "Fluffy", the 22 foot retic, was at best, 220 and that was very large. Also, Baby at 28 feet, wasn't much more than 310 - 400. That's 12 feet LONGER than yours. You need a new scale.

Maybe he's weighing himself holding the snake and forgetting to subtract it? BTW, what kind of scale do you use to weigh a snake that large? Do you have to get one of the table scales that vets use to weigh large dogs? Just curious- I imagine you'd have to.

I said he is longer than 16 feet bud, he could be 22 feet for all i know!
even if i forgot to subtract my weight, i weigh 200 pounds, hes not 110 pounds, lol, anyway i don t weigh him in this matter, i put him in a huge rubbermaid and put him on the scale for puppies.

You said you don't know how to lift him out of his 'cell' so I was saying you just need a second (or third) set of hands to help.
What are the dimensions of the enclosure?

yea guys, im just joking, he ate two 20 pound rabbits! lol If you ever run out of rabbits give me a call. My neighbors have some cats i like to see go bye bye. I would never feed dogs to a snake, but cats are fair game. That why i call my wifes cat snake food. LOL By the way really nice burm you got.

Thats a very nice burm. I've gotta agree with Aaron though, I just can't see how that snake is 310lbs.
Like I said, very nice though. How old is he?
