I don't currently own any reptiles, but am very fascinated by them and plan to own a ball python in the future. I just want to see everyone's pictures and read up on them as much as I can before the day comes.

I've always liked animals, just that reptiles were not really at the top of the list. I was at the Canadian Reptile Breeders Expo this past weekend (first trip to a reptile expo!!) and I hafta say I'm hooked! It's mind boggling the number of color and pattern morphs out there and they're all so gorgeous! even the normal ones!

I'm kind of a girly girl and I think my boyfriend is a little taken aback by this. Hahah

I still won't touch a worm when we go fishing nor will I touch a spider, but I'll pet a snake (and I'll even get used to having frozen rats in our fridge!!). He doesn't understand. LOL

Hello Ontario, welcome. Last year my friend kept his BP (ball pyhon) at my house for about a week. I fell in love. I had never owned a snake. Now I have 2 BP's and a Boa. They are addictive.
This particular forum has helped me alot.

Welcome! I'm from Canada too...and I'm a girl! We can love reptiles too :)The expo was fun, wasn't it! I had a great time.
We always love to see people doing their research before buying an animal. Ball pythons are great, they are addictive though...well, all reptiles are! Good luck :)

I don't think I'll be getting one anytime soon, but I can't wait to get one. I need to save up. Plus, my boyfriend and I plan to buy a boat. Nothing crazy, just a small 14' aluminum boat. He loves fishing. I can't say I'm as crazy about it as he is, but I definitely enjoy the time outdoors. :)

Back to snakes... that will come after the boat.. haha..
