hello again
So today i was able to play with my new digi cam the canon s30 and i love it its absoultly wonderful.......but i cant seem to get real good macros the closes i can get is about 6 inches befor it goes blury im sure most of my problem is inexperience i mean i do have a full 4 hours of playing with it but i dont think thats makes me a pro lol any ideas on different things i can try to increase the min distance for macros my cam has fully manual aperture shuter speed white balence and focus and all the other himidyhaus you could use. what would be the best scene mode or is all manual the way to go please give me all the info you all have

You might try standing back a little and zooming in.

I havn't had the time to play with my s30 that much, but try using the largest resolution zoom out and get the camera close. Also hit the little button under the flower. I find this works fairly good but I always seem to have a problem with to much light or to dark. If you find a better way to get nice close clear pics let me no.

It'd probably work best if you used the macro button on the camera.

jeff thank you for your arrigents. it mean alot to me you think i know what Macro is but not what button to push for it. right im looking for more fine tuning kinda of advice
