Nova Scotia, Halifax. BP?

Hello everyone,

My name is Bryan and I am new to sSnakeSs. Hopefully soon I will join in owning a snake. Which brings me to why I am here. I am looking for a ball python captive bred hatchling.

I have never owned a reptile before, however I have done my research and my readings. Also I have a friend who has snakes ( one ball python ).

If anyone knows where I can find one, I'd love to get one as soon as possible.
I am not interested in morphs, I just want a little ball of joy.

Wow--Nova Scotia--welcome! and lots of luck finding the snake you want! Are any of the herp shows within traveling distance for you?

Glad you've done your research and preparations ahead of time--those are really important to ensuring your snake stays healthy after you get it.

And yes I am in distance of a reptile show. There is a Nova Scotia Reptile Expo 2009. I think I am close enough for 2 of them I do believe. Only thing is that they are in September, and I am not the least bit patient. I have done to much researching, and visited too many friends who have snakes to be patient.

I know there are breeders around me, I just need a little luck to find them.

yes ReptilesCanada is a great place to start. There are many breeders who will ship to you, not too sure who is located out in NS though. Good luck!

Thanks for the help everyone. I've got my little boy, and he is a beauty. He is settling in now, he loves to climb.

Didn't even need to ship him in, found a wonderfully kind lady about and hour away from my house. She was very helpful and caring. Once I get the egg photo's and some of my own photo's ill post them.
