hi, my name is maggie. i have a ball python and a yellow rat snake. i have had baine, my ball python for three and a half years, and i just recently got, robbie, my yellow ratsnake. as i have no experience with rat snakes i will have lots of questions.

I think rat snakes are pretty easy. I got a leucistic ratsnake a month or so ago. She's very curious and active. I keep her on cypress mulch but aspen is also good for them. Just keep it warm, around the 80s and a basking spot of up to 92. Make sure it has a water dish large enough to soak in, and you should be fine.
