wow nice snakes, i held a 12 foot albino burmeese python the other day and loved it, im getting my first snake, a ball python and i have set up his cage, it has: a water bowel, a log, two hides, a substrate and a heat mat, is there anything else i need??

Dagg96, you need digital temperature & humidity gauges so you can ensure the proper temp & humidity. Don't get the stick-on kind--you can't put them where the snake will be.

What kind of substrate did you get? Also, before we end up completely hijacking Sean's thread, put all this into a new thread, entitled something like, "What Do I Need for a BP?" We'll answer your questions there so this thread can be about Sean's herps.

Sean, you have a nice collection, indeed. We'd love to see pics. Welcome to the forum!

Welcome, Sean, from another newbie here, and also in Florida!
I was gonna say from 'sunny Florida,' but here in Polk County it's been raining cats & dogs...
