hello all,

I am starting a new habitat for a crested gecko and all though I have done tons of research, getting advice is always a good thing.

so here is a break down of what I got so far.

I am using a gun cabinet that's 4 1/2 feet tall, 20 inches wide and 12 inches deep. I plan on installing a 12 inch uva uvb bulb up top and a 25 watt red heat lamp for night time viewing. (not to sure how I'm insatlling the lamp just yet.) I have one dworf bamboo and a fake ivy plant so far and plan on geting more including some real ivy to grow around the drift wood wich I plan on going to beach this weekend and grabing (wich I plan on wiping down with a mild bleach solution). I would like to use the green reptile carpet for the bottom since it worked prity well for my sisters iguana.

things I'm not sure about is were to drill the holes for ventalation and what other plant I might consider that would thrive in this kind of inclosure.

like I said before I have read just about everything I can find on line and it would be nice to get some direct info for what I'm trying to do. in the end I just want to have some very happy (sum what spoiled) and very healthy crested geckos.

thank you so much for taking the time to read this and any input you might have.
