Yes, she is a very docile snake. Unless there's a rat smell in the air. Then you don't go near the pointy end.

I don't own a male short-tail. I just have the one female.

i guess i just figured you always buy snakes in pairs...

What made you think of that? Other than my two male colubrids (which are unpaired) I have only a single male python of any species. I prefer to buy females than buy a male if I am to pair them up.
