Hey Guys,
I just wanted to share with you a pic of my new guy. He's about 20 inches long and is a striped corn. The breeder said there is a 66% chance he has the bloodred gene, so we'll see how he develops as he gets older. I am in love !!!
I just wanted to share this with you b/c I am so elated,

Jmixx, If I were you, I would just google forum lingo to avoid further ribbing from Kmef in the future :)
People tell me I'm like a big fat horses behind... :)
My best looking snake is the meanest, and always strikes me, bites me, so I get angry with him, but he's the one that may, or may not, make it in the wild best I suppose.
My mellowest snake kills prey faster and far more efficient than the nastiest or the nicest, most social one. He flies off my hand in a know practically, and just slips his body around his prey and squeezes, almost in the air :) or so it seems.
I don't think of looks as much as disposition anymore. When the coolest looking is the one you have to watch then that gets old quick. I'll take a nicer snake for a pet, that isn't as good of looking. Seems like I use that philosphy in other things also... :)
Hope it turns out to be a good snake for you!

Gorgeous corn snake. I am usually not a huge fan, but that is a pretty little snake. Best of luck with him!

Oh, I'm sorry--did I give the impression that I was trying to AVOID ribbing??

did I give the impression that I was trying to AVOID ribbing?? I didn't get that impression! ;)
I kinda like your definition for LOLOL myself! I don't think we should let the younger folks control all the Internet lingo anyway. They're TY to have enough experience, right? ;)
Well, after all--who gets to make up the rules about these acronyms, anyway? Each one had to start somewhere!

He has definitely gotten much better. He glides back and forth through my fingers, like a cute little piece of yarn. He is initially a little skittish when I pick him up, but after that he calms down in a matter of seconds. It just took some time, and from what I understand, juvenile corns are just shy little snakes at first.
It's amazing how they all have their own little personalities, or in your case, very big personalities.
