hey everyone, got my new ball python last wednessday!! shes/he is amazing, the pet store dude said it was a boy, ( and she is a vet too ) so its a boy! any way, i havnt fed her yet... letting him get use to the surroundings. he has a very interesting pattern of orange on his lower side / upper belly... some say its might be a resesive trait and some say it mihg tjust be bc hes young... his name is Elanore and any one who know me, knows why i named him that! post pics later

yea, he appears to be. hes also very very friendly and very ... tame ( couldnt think of a better word ) all is good so far! i just need to get a bigger tank for em' hes in a 10 i would like to get em a 20 with in the next few days...

The orange sides are definetely genetic. You breed it to ANY other ball python and it'll show up! It's a dominant trait.
