Hi there!
I've been noticing a lot of numbers next to snake breeds.
I was wondering what they mean...
For example I saw: 1.1 proven het albino and possibly het anery.
I have also seen 2.2 kenyan sand boas.
I'm looking forward to finding out what the numbers mean.
Thank so much,
Kenny

I believe the first number is for the number of males, the second is the number of females. It is the ratio of males to females just not 100% sure on which comes first ;)

For the group of babies in the "litter"? (i'm not sure of the proper words to use there, or if it is "litter".)

You can also use it to say how many males and females in a "litter". I believe it is called a brood? I have usually seen it when people are bescribing which snakes they have and are breeding or selling. 1.1 would mean one of each sex.

Never heard the term brood used before. Usually it's a clutch of eggs or litter of babies. Depends if they were live-bearing or egg-bearing snakes.
