Yes, she looks like she's getting ready to shed, but she's still lovely! Looks like there's a lot of moisture in the enclosure; what's your humidity?
I had just misted she was actually drinking the water dropplets. I keep the humidity anywhere between 95% on the hot side right after i mist to 75% by the time i mist again and the cold side is between 85% and 60% again right after i mist in the morning and right before i mist at night.

What kind of top do you have? If possible, you don't want the humidity to drop below 75%. If you're using a screen top, you might want to cover part of it with plastic or replace part of it with plexiglass so the humidity stabilizes around 75-80%. That might also help reduce your misting demands, although it must be pretty cool to watch her sipping on the droplets of water! ;)
ya right now i have a screen top and i covred it with vinyl tiles that i had left over and then i cut out holes for the lights and i put a towel over it that i mist also i was doing great on the humidity when i first got her but now the temps here have been in the single digits every day and night and my house is at 68F and the humidity in my house is only 25% so it is just a hard time but when the weather gets a little better it will be much better and easier
i think there might have been an error and i might have a male rather than a female. my breeder called me and said that he might have mixed up the two he had. so ya i still need names but now i need boys and girls names....anyone have any ideas?
female, Roxanne
male..Pablo? Post some pictures once s/he sheds for better inspiration!
I like pablo that was my name in high school for spanish class lol.....and i've been waiting for my snake to shed for a long time she is about 18 days behind her regular schedule and my humidity is actually pretty right on.

Very Cool Photo!
Sounds like you're doing what you need to do to maintain the humidity at the right level under the winter circumstances. Winter is always harder, because the house heater/furnace dries out the air a lot. Hang in there!
Do you plan to trade him/her back, or keep him/her, or what?
Oh i wanna keep it and hopefully get one of the opposite sex once i get it sexed again and figure out what it is and breed it. I will have to wait about 1.5 years to breed it though.

cool snake kyle
Ya my little sister keeps wanting me to name it rainbow. i still have to get it sexed because i have two conflicting opinions on what it is and im not good enough to sex it myself....either way i can't really bring myself to name it rainbow, because i can't go up to my friends and say he have i ever showed you rainbow my brazilian rainbow boa. They might come to the conclusion that i follow the path of the rainbow...if you know what i mean.
she is pretty though i just got her to shed and i fed her last night so i'll try and post some pics as soon as i can probably late tonight she is about 100% more shiny now.
She had a rough day yesterday i had to transport her to my friends house because mine lost power and it was about 20 degrees outside and then i had to set her up in the 10g tank i have and i couldn't keep the humidity up where i wanted it but then about 8 hours of that i got to bring her home and she ate 3 big rat pups. (rat pups to me are still hairless, i know some people refer to rat pups as fuzzies or whatever) and she shed the night before last so it's been a rough couple days for my snake but she seems healthy.

I think that a flashy name that could possibly be for a male or female is Vegas. I think it is best for a female but I have had people ask me if it was a name for a male. I was going to get a female boxer for Christmas and name her vegas and people thought is was better as a male's name. I decided that the snakes would be better right now instead of a dog.
that is an amazing idea!!!! it goes along with what sane said too that it should capture it's irredescence.
I think Vegas is going to win it. I have been kicking that name around for a while and i really think that it will be good for my brb.

i had my ball for a year and still have not found a good name for her be patient it will come.
im working on gettin more snakes and i have to convince my girl and also my parents cuz i'm living with them for the next little bit and then with here and neither of them really want a lot of snakes they aren't really the snake types so i have to figure something out.
