I own a male and female blue tongue skink. I find their care and upkeep to be pretty easy. They're real joys to keep as pets.

Phil_7870,
It seems to me like you're having a lot of difficulty with your reptile collection as it is. My suggestion is that if you're seriously intersted in getting a skink do a lot of research on the internet and in books before making any decisions.

Phil_7870,
I'm not trying to shut anybody down and I don't have any problem with people asking questions!
I think it's amazing that people can come to this forum and feel comfortable discussing their reptile keeping habbits.
This forum is a great place for learning and teaching. I wasn't trying to offend you.
My response was a personal opinion, nothing you need to get all worked up about.

Phil, I'm so glad that you're asking so many questions. I guess Kenny was surprised that you're interested in skinks as well as in your BP.

Frankly, Phil & I are alot alike--I've asked people questions about their tarantulas and lizards even though I don't plan to get any--I'm curious about them, they are beautiful, and I want to learn more even when I don't want to keep those animals. I learn more about them by asking. I never want to stop learning! I hope that I'm still curious when I'm 80 or 90!

You rock, Phil!! Keep that curiousity alive!
